NOVA GOKULA

14.NEW GOKULA TEMPLE

Everything has its time.

I had the opportunity to be in New Gokula.
At the right time.

There were still original Hare Krishna devotees living there.

The place is so large that there are no rooms, but houses for this and that.

I was welcomed in the house of the South devotees. Early, they would wake me up for meditation.
The house no longer exists. The devotees have passed away. Both of them and many other wonderful people have gone.

I received instructions from Prabhu Rupa Gouranga and Prabhu Sundaranga. Transcendental instructions.

I asked Prabhu Sundaranga why he didn’t go to the temple. He replied, the temple is us.

And the liturgy is our steps.

NOVA GOKULA

Sitting in this temple, after months of meditation directed towards the wall, I had an experience.

An image opened in front of me. It was all the personalities of the Hindu pantheon.

They were all dancing to a mystical tune, looking at me and laughing.

After the initial shock, I began to look at them in more detail.

I noticed that each of them had a slight difference from the descriptions in the Puranas.

There was always a sign that gave them away. Soon I understood: they were all one, in different situations.

I wrote this in my blog at the time.
Back then, blogs were what we had.

And the following Saturday, some Indian Brahmins came to visit the temple.

I arrived in the main hall, and it was packed. And no one was performing the Goura Arati ceremony.

I took the kartals in my hands, invited a Japanese person who was there to play. Then I sat down and began teaching from the Srimad Bhagavatam.

Since the older devotees had been living there for a long time, they left the activities for the younger ones to do.

Thus, I gave the class sitting in that chair. Not by merit.

But because the function of a guru is to form other gurus.

And only a guru can form a guru.
A fool can only form other fools.

Thus, the recognition of these outstanding gurus and their audience was not a merit.

I felt it as a duty, and after that, I started traveling, giving lectures, until I realized a serious problem.

People unqualified from all sides were listening to and reading teachings on the internet and reproducing them (and distorting them).

So it became my responsibility to stop. Because otherwise, I would be a fool forming fools. Wise people always form other wise people. NOVA GOKULA

Some people cried when I left. I am sorry I left.

Even today, my heart breaks that I left....

They wanted someone to continue.

It was a moment when it seemed like the work would continue.
