14. BODY DRAWING
In the photo, I was a little over thirty years old. A unique record.
On the computer, I was about 5 years old. The magazine in hand is the same.
I no longer have them, neither the age, nor the magazine, nor even the childhood photo, nor the computer.
One day, at my grandmother's house, I was looking at the reader's drawings at the end of the magazine.
There was one that was very good, so I went to show it to my grandmother and told her it was a drawing by another child, just like me at that moment.
My grandmother, always very strict, told me to stop saying nonsense, because it was obvious that it was a drawing made by an adult.
And then came the great discovery. Adults draw. And apparently, they lived from drawing. I will never forget that moment. That was when I chose my profession.
And to this day, look how lucky I am, I never found another reference artist like the first one, as good as the one I admired when I was a child, the illustrator Timothy Truman.
