THE PRINCIPLE OF DESIGN
Aleksandr Rodchenko and Mondrian destroyed form.
They destroyed it in a figurative sense. This means they deconstructed form.
And they treated it as they wished.
Mondrian immersed himself even more in the plastic arts.
But Rodchenko had a whole constructivist theoretical structure and, in some ways, a modernist one.
Do not forget that Russian constructivists influenced the Bauhaus and, therefore, Modernism. Not the other way around.
However, the most important thing is that Rodchenko began to use photography as art. And began to mix photos with the plastic arts.
