AUDIO SOFTWARE
The first time I entered an audio studio, I realized that the final result was not the same as what I was playing. So I played the same song, but with a completely different style, to see the result. And the result was nothing like what I had done. I warned them that I would record the same song several times in different keys, and that they should not stop the recording, because I wanted everything in the same file. So, when I sat in front of the computer, I immediately saw the problem visually. The audio tracks, everyone must have seen them in movies, have waves that vary in height and frequency.
In my recording, the line went up like a wave, and by the middle, it was already hitting the top line, staying flat for a while, and then going down. I was losing half of what I was playing with the flute, due to an audio input set for guitar, bass, or drums. And from what I talked to the guy (guy from my point of view), he had no idea what I was talking about. That's when I decided to learn how to record and edit audio, due to the lack of professionals in the market. This generation only knows how to record RAP and Funk. Since I use Linux, I chose Ardour. I chose it purely by intuition.
Because when I look at an image program, I can immediately tell if it's professional or not. So I used the same technique when choosing Ardour. The reality is that it's a completely new field for me. I don't master sound the way I master images. But the program works natively on Linux and has several interesting plugins (and that's an advantage Linux has, plugins work well). Honestly, I record better than most. And it helps me make tracks for jingles without needing licensing rights for other composers' music. In the future, I will make an animation with a soundtrack.
