1994 . JAPANESE MUSIC
In 1994, I had my first experience of being surrounded by people from a culture completely different from my own. I was born in the state of Santa Catarina, colonized by Portuguese, Germans, and Italians.
In the state of Paraná, a province stretching from south to north, there was a colony of Japanese people and their descendants. I was very interested in a Japanese girl and would do anything to be with her.
However, being with her meant not only being with her family but also entering her world. A Japanese world, a separate world. And I did everything: bonsai, karate, the Japanese language, Enka music.
