What came out of that? National rock. I don't know if anyone who travels has noticed, but Portuguese rock does not exist.
There are one or two bands that sing in English, but the representatives of Portuguese rock are not as big as the bands that emerged in Brazil.
Rock was the music of protest, with Cazuza, Renato Russo, that guy who adopted Raul Seixas and was later adopted by Charlie Brown Jr...
