Do you know who the redhead in the photo is? Maria Eduarda Loch. A photographic model. It seems obvious, but what is obvious to ordinary people is the wisdom of the wise. I say this because we should dig deeper into the issue.


I met this girl traveling from Camboriú to Itajaí, neighboring cities in Santa Catarina. I was in a somewhat spiritual leader phase, still being called for some fashion work, and she started talking nonstop...


I gave some advice, but two things stayed with me about the girl, who today is no longer a girl. One was that she was a thoroughbred. White, in the literal sense of the word. A true redhead, completely redhead.


All redhead, from head to toe, blue eyes... well, pure blood, absolutely pure. An embodiment of a stereotype. A biotype. That was the redhead. The second thing was that she was small. To be a runway model, she wasn’t quite right. Not too small, but small.


To be a model, you must be at least my height. And the girl was small. But at the same time, she was big. She succeeded on her own. Surviving in the fashion market with a height of around 1.65m, 1.70m, was improbable.

For photos, there’s no problem. In this case, all models just need to be small. Then everything is solved.


From there, there was an exodus of professionals, the West saw itself as the intellectual matrix of the world, and they took a fall, the Brazilian textile industry collapsed, and consequently, the fashion industry collapsed.


But this girl never stopped posting work on her Facebook. And they were good works, because it should be impossible to take a bad photo of her...

But she survived as a model. Well…, do you know what that means? It means she is a model.


Professionals distinguish themselves like this: they survive crises. And they don’t have bad jobs.
