Commentary:
The vector drawing format SVG from Inkscape is widely accepted by its counterparts in Windows and Mac, and open-source 3D and video software accept these files natively. This allows creation to utilize tools from various different programs.
However, this does not apply to electronic editing, as ODT, ODS, and ODG formats are completely incompatible with InDesign's INDD. Since 1995, when I first tried the Linux operating system, in its RedHat Canonical version, I was already searching for digital editors, but there was no compatibility.
28 years later, the curious thing is that there has been no development of electronic editing applications in the open-source world, and InDesign has also not evolved since it incorporated QuarkXPress. This is likely due to the perspective that books and magazines will disappear after the advent of the internet on smartphones.
